Employee profile: Aleksi
Synocus has a diversity of people working as a team.
Background
I joined Synocus in the late fall of 2010. I saw Synocus as a fascinating working community where I could be involved in very challenging and interesting business strategy and improvement projects, within a variety of industries. Beginning from when I first I joined Synocus I have participated in project work and have been able to personally see the end results of our work in customers’ business.
Before my time in management consulting at Synocus I worked at one of the world largest software companies, SAS Institute, in the position of Account Manager, focusing on some of Finland’s largest manufacturing companies. After more than three years of business optimization sales and account management, I wanted to make a career switch into management consulting. I have a Masters’ degree, with a major in corporate strategy and international business, from the Helsinki University of Technology’s Industrial Engineering and Management department.
My role at Synocus
My work at Synocus has mainly consisted of consulting projects relating to profitability management, eco system orchestration and change management, where the aim is to provide significant added value for the customer. My work tasks in these projects vary from management interviews, to data gathering, all the way to profitability model development and to presenting the deliverables. Additionally, I also participate in managing Synocus’ everyday business issues as a member of the Synocus Operations Team.
Synocus as a workplace
Some of the most rewarding aspects of working at Synocus are, firstly the opportunity to belong to a team helping customers solve their problems. Secondly, Synocus provides me with a valuable viewpoint from which I can observe the development paths of different kinds of companies and networks.
