Finnish automobile manufacturer Valmet Automotive’s partnership with American automobile designer Fisker Automotive faced a number of complex challenges. Alongside the technological challenges of manufacturing the Fisker Karma’s pioneering electric drive train technology were challenges of network orchestration. Synocus served an integral role in forming and orchestrating the complex innovation network required to achieve the ambitious goals of Valmet Automotive and Fisker Automotive.
In an address delivered at Synocus’ 10th anniversary event on April 1st, 2011, Erik Torseke, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Valmet Automotive, spoke about the history of this strategic partnership. Included is the PowerPoint presentation (pdf) displayed by Mr. Torske at the event.
