Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University, established in 1911, has a history of promoting the interaction between Chinese and Western cultures, the sciences and humanities, the ancient and modern.

Since China's opening up to the world in 1978, Tsinghua University has developed at a breathtaking pace into a comprehensive research university. At present, the university has faculties in science, engineering, humanities, law, medicine, history, philosophy, economics, management, education and art. The University now has over 25,000 students. As one of China’s most renowned universities, Tsinghua has become an important institution for fostering talent and scientific research.

In September 2006, Synocus signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tsinghua University to “make use of the complementary competences of the respective organizations to develop attractive research and training programs that can be provided to customers on a global basis”. In November 2007, Tsinghua University organized the first one-week training module of the co-developed action-learning program “Glocal China” in Beijing. As a result of this in-depth collaboration Professor SU Jun together with Johan Wallin published the book Innovation and Collaboration for a Harmonious World in 2010.
